Red wine made from 100% Barbera grapes. Barbera is the quintessential Piedmontese grape variety, typically yielding a wine with low tannins but a persistent acidic backbone. Late harvesting and achieving phenolic ripeness in the grapes allow for a proper balance between these two factors.
