Red wine produced from 100% Freisa grapes, aged in a 25-hectoliter wooden vat for 24 months.

Aging is an aspect that radically influences the characteristics of the wine produced: Materico is the result of an experiment conducted in the first years of activity, in which I evaluated, according to my personal taste, which container was most suitable to enhance the characteristics of Freisa.

In this expression of wine, the choice fell on a 25-hectoliter wooden vat, which provides a delicate balance between the gallic tannin of the wood and the catechic tannin of the grape.
